Tewksbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council

Welcome to the Tewksbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council. We are a 501(C)(3) Certified Non-profit Organization.

Mission Statement
The Special Education Parent Advisory Council (TSEPAC) is a group of volunteer parents and guardians of children with various special needs in the town of Tewksbury. The TSEPAC works in partnership with the Tewksbury Special Education Department in an effort to provide all of Tewksbury’s special education children, their families, their teachers, and their schools with the support and resources needed for these children to successfully achieve their educational goals as well as their extracurricular activities. We do this by providing parent/guardian and teacher workshops, fundraisers, sports programs, and various other resources to support both the Special Education Department as well as the families. We invite and welcome all who are interested in becoming actively involved to attend our meetings and events and we encourage all to share any suggestions, ideas and information in an effort to continue to sustain open communication between the TSEPAC and the Special Education Department, as well as to benefit and support these children, their families, and their educators..

Our Objectives
• Promote and support an innovative educational environment where children with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities and a school and community environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

• Promote a network for all families of children with disabilities and provide a forum to share information and discuss matters of relative interest and concern regarding our children.

• Promote communication and programs within the community to encourage the understanding, respect, acceptance, and inclusion of children with disabilities.

• Collaborate with the school community to continually improve the educational opportunities available within and without our schools that promote improved educational outcomes for children with disabilities.
